About Atelier Che-Va
by Pieter van Goor
Visual artist Pieter van Goor works at one of the largest cattle-breeding organisations in the Netherlands. Observing the animals is part of his job. He knows the body structure and physique to the smallest details. This is shown in his work as an artist. His knowledge of animals combined with his artistic talent results in sculptures, in which the beauty of the animal reflects in a unique way. They’re made with an eye for detail and the proportions and anatomy are correct. His precision is undefined. Pieter is most inspired by the Dutch Warmbloodhorse, Harnesshorse, Friesianhorse and the Dutch cattle. As an autodidact he makes sculptures of modest measurements of Neolith, tin and bronze, which have a great demand inside and outside of Europe.
The studio is located in Erp (Noord-Brabant).
There is always a possibility to come visit and see the sculptures.
Viewings are also possible in the evenings and in weekends.
Please make an appointment first.
